Fraudulent voter registration applications have been found in Pennsylvania.

Fox News reports that the fraudulent applications were found this past week, and, now, the situation is under investigation.

The applications have already been linked to Field and Media Corps, which Fox reports to be "an apparent subsidiary of Fieldcorp, an Arizona-based organization working in Lancaster County."

The investigation is being led by Monroe County District Attorney Mike Mancuso.

Here is what we know:

According to Fox, the fraudulent voter registration applications were found by Monroe Country's boards of elections officials.

More info has been reported by WNEP Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, an ABC affiliate.

"Election workers say about 27 forms were fraudulent as the people on the applications did not authorize them. On at least one form, the applicant was deceased," the outlet reports.

It continues:

According to Monroe County's District Attorney, Mike Mancuso, 21 applications were traced to a company called "Field and Media Corps," a subsidiary of Fieldcorps, an Arizona-based organization working out of Lancaster County. 16 of the 21 applications were found fraudulent, with forged signatures and often incorrect or incomplete identifying information.

Regarding the forms not linked to Fieldcorps, Mancuso has found, according to the outlet, that "two of them involved mail-in ballots that were allegedly stolen in attempts to cast them. The other three remain under investigation."

Mancuso's statement

On his Facebook page, Mancuso has released a statement on the matter. It can be read in its entirety here.

He wrote:

The broader investigation continues with reference to Fieldcorp’s involvement. Our office is in regular contact and working with investigators from the Attorney General’s Office as well as others. A further update will be made in the next day or so.

Mancuso also asked, "Anyone with information pertinent to the matter should contact District Attorney Detective Thomas McMahon at (570) 517-3025 TJMcMahon@monroecountypa.gov."

At the time of this writing, Mancuso released one other statement on the matter, providing a few more details about the investigation, which have already been covered above. This second statement can be found, in its entirety, here.

Mancuso concludes by, once again, calling for help from anyone who may have relevant information about the situation. He insists that he will protect the integrity of the 2024 election, writing:

The District Attorney's Office remains committed to protecting the integrity of the election process and prosecuting violations of election law. We continue to work closely with the Attorney General's Office and the county offices.
