Yet another chapter of President Joe Biden's documents scandal began this week, with Fox News reporting that FBI agents have gone to the University of Delaware in search of classified material.

According to the network, federal agents have conducted two separate searches at the college where Biden obtained his undergraduate degree.

Agents still reviewing material

Fox News cited unnamed sources who say no classified items have been discovered yet but added that material is still being reviewed. These sources also indicated that the president's legal team has thus far been cooperative.

The documents story began last month when it was revealed that classified material was discovered just before the 2020 midterm elections at the University of Pennsylvania's Penn Biden Center.

A subsequent search by FBI agents turned up yet more documents in the garage of Biden's Wilmington, Delaware home.

"At the outset of this matter, the President directed his personal attorneys to fully cooperate with the Department of Justice," Fox News quoted Biden attorney Bob Bauer as saying.

"DOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President," Bauer acknowledged.

University of Delaware received Chinese cash after Biden Institute created

The University of Delaware is home to the Biden School of Public Policy & Administration as well as the Biden Institute.

In an article published earlier this week, Breitbart pointed to research by the Government Accountability Institute which showed that the University of Delaware took in $6.7 million from anonymous Chinese donors after the Biden Institute was established in 2017.

The first such donation came in 2018 and was worth $3,204,070. This was followed by a $1,869,515 donation eight months later and a third donation of $624,904 arrived a year after that.

Three additional anonymous Chinese donations totaling $1,005,761 arrived in 2020, with much of those funds being given after Biden was declared president-elect.

Hunter Biden's business partner had ties to Chinese intelligence

Breitbart noted last year that investigative journalist Peter Schweizer explained in his book "Red-Handed" how the donations came in even as Hunter Biden was involved with a Chinese businessman who had ties to China's intelligence community.

"The hazard of a Chinese businessman with close ties to the top ranks of Beijing’s spy agency conducting financial transactions with the son of the U.S. vice president cannot be overstated," Schweizer wrote.

"How this did not set off national security or ethics alarm bells in Washington is a wonder in itself," the author added.
