FBI boss Kash Patel reveals that his home was swatted
Kash Patel, the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), just revealed that he has been the victim of at least one swatting incident.
Patel, according to Fox News, revealed as much during his recent interview on Joe Rogan's podcast.
Take a look:
What on earth?! FBI Director Kash Patel tells Joe Rogan that his house just got swatted:
PATEL: "My house just got swatted yesterday."
JOE ROGAN: "The head of the FBI gets swatted?"
PATEL: "Yeah. It's the ultimate height of hypocrisy. They have 2 sets of rules. One against… pic.twitter.com/KHWnyfvlmv

Not even the FBI boss is immune
During the interview, Patel, at one point, explained to Rogan how he is trying to make the FBI back into an unbiased institution.
It was in the process of doing so that he revealed that he has been the target of a swatting incident.
He said:
As director of the FBI I have a responsibility. I’m not just gonna bring a case because somebody hurt me. They did, and they continue to do it. S***, my house just got swatted yesterday."
Here, a surprised Rogan jumped in and asked, "You got swatted? The head of the FBI gets swatted?"
Patel replied, "Yeah, these people play… it’s the ultimate height of hypocrisy. They have two sets of rules, one against you and one for them."
Background
Breitbart News has diligently covered the fact that conservatives have been frequent targets of swatting incidents.
Swatting, by the way, "is when a person attempts to send armed law enforcement to another person’s house over a fake incident, which has led to deadly consequences in the past," Fox reports.
Patel previously indicated that, as FBI boss, he is trying to clamp down on these incidents.
Breitbart reported:
FBI Director Kash Patel addressed “the alarming rise in ‘Swatting’ incidents targeting media figures” in an X post, declaring, “The FBI is aware of this dangerous trend, and my team and I are already taking action to investigate and hold those responsible accountable.” “This isn’t about politics,” Patel continued. “Weaponizing law enforcement against ANY American is not only morally reprehensible but also endangers lives, including those of our officers. That will not be tolerated.” “We are fully committed to working with local law enforcement to crack down on these crimes,” the FBI director added, promising, “More updates to come.”
We'll have to see whether or not Patel and the FBI are able to get this situation under control.
