The FBI caught James Biden negotiating business deals in surveillance tapes it procured as part of an unrelated bribery case, the Washington Post reported Sunday. 

The Post story opened with Richard “Dickie” Scruggs, who pleaded guilty to bribery charges in 2008 and spent five years in jail, sharing that he had hired James Biden and paid him $100,000 for consulting services in an attempt to get then-Senator Joe Biden to support congressional approval he needed to force tobacco companies to pay billions of dollars in damages.

Biden did support the bill Scruggs needed, but it was a divided Congress and the bill failed.

“Jim was never untoward about his influence,” Scruggs said. “He didn’t brag about it or talk about it. He didn’t have to. He was the man’s brother.”

Ongoing relationship

The two continued to propose business relationships and were about to start a lobbying firm together with Tim Balducci and Steve Patterson, lawyers he met through Scruggs, and Hunter Biden, when Scruggs was arrested for trying to bribe the judge.

Somehow, Biden's name was kept out of it and he avoided any fallout that would have damaged his brother, who was about to become vice president.

While the Post claims that the tapes and Scruggs's statements don't "prove" that Joe Biden knew anything about what his brother (and wife Sara) were doing, the House Oversight Committee sees the coincidence as too great to believe and subpoenaed them and the business that got the payment from Scruggs, Lion Hall.

According to the committee, Joe Biden was referred to as "the Big Guy" by at least five Biden business associates on the tapes.

Associates referred to what they were buying as the "Biden brand."

Other evidence

From bank records, the committee has documented $24 million in payments to Biden family members in conjunction with selling the brand.

More than 20 shell companies with no known purpose were used for these foreign business transactions, even though no goods were exchanged nor services rendered, other than possible favors done by Joe Biden that no one really knows about.

When the dots all get connected, Joe Biden is going down with the ship.

There's no way $24 million can be a coincidence, and Hunter Biden will not likely take the fall for his father if it seems like he actually might go to jail.

It's obvious that the "Big Guy" was involved. Everyone who isn't a Democrat sycophant can see it.
