Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley was approached by a whistleblower late last year about an FBI document known as FD-1023 which outlines an alleged bribery scheme involving President Joe Biden.

Among the document's revelations is that Biden was identified as "the big guy" by a Ukrainian oligarch. 

President and his son allegedly paid $5 million each

That's according to an article published on Saturday by the Washington Examiner, which cited sources said to be familiar with the document.

The oligarch in question is Mykola Zlochevsky, who owns the oil gas firm Burisma. It famously gave a lucrative job to the president's son, Hunter Biden, despite him having no previous experience in the energy business.

Zlochevsky's description of Joe Biden as "the big guy" was purportedly made in a conversation that took place some years before the FD-1023 was created in June of 2020.

What's more, Zlochevsky is also said to have described a bribery program under which Biden and his son were to receive $5 million each.

Biden forced the firing of a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma

Fox News has reported that the confidential human source who helped compile the FD-1023 has been described as "a regular, reliable source of information since 2010" who has received roughly $200,000 from the FBI.

Interestingly, Joe Biden boasted at a Council on Foreign Relations event in 2018 that during his time as vice president, he pressured the Ukrainian government into firing a prosecutor investigating Burisma.

"I said, we're leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor's not fired, you're not getting the money," Biden declared. "Well son of a bitch, he got fired."

Phrase "big guy" turned up in Chinese dealings

The Examiner noted that this is not the first time that the phrase "big guy" has been used in connection with the president.

It also appeared in emails found on Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop concerning negotiations with a Chinese Communist Party-linked businessman. Those emails did not become publicly available until October of 2020--months after the FD-1023 was drawn up.

Further, former Navy officer and Hunter Biden business partner Tony Bobulinski told Tucker Carlson in the fall of 2020 that Joe Biden was known as "the big guy" and was entitled to a share of their profits.
