Fetterman tells fellow Democrats to stop calling Trump 'Hitler'
U.S. Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) just criticized his fellow Democrats for having referred to President Donald Trump as "Hitler," among other things.
This, according to Fox News, comes in the aftermath of the assassination of Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk.
Fetterman seems to believe that such things as calling Trump "Hitler" encourage political violence.

— Not to call Trump an autocrat
— Don’t dig in to force govt shutdown
— Accept Trump’s help on crime
— Defend Israel (even the Doha strikes, which Trump distanced himself from)

Fetterman weighs in
Fetterman issued his criticism during a recent appearance on CNN's "Inside Politics."
There, in light of the assassination of Kirk, the Senator said:
I think we can’t just be well, Trump is always wrong or that we’re going to set the country on fire or whatever. That’s just not true either, of course. But, you know, when I represent a state like Pennsylvania that keeps you honest and you always can’t forget that a lot of Americans happen to disagree with you, that does not mean that they are fascists, or now they want to shred the Constitution.
The host then specifically asked Fetterman about those Democrats who have referred to Trump as an "autocrat."
"Yeah, no, that’s the thing. If you actually compare him to an actual autocrat, that is not just that. Now, last night, for example, people were complaining, they were protesting about, oh, that’s Hitler. I think you just don’t ever, ever compare anyone to Hitler and those kinds of extreme things," Fetterman said.
He added, "Now, look what happened to Charlie Kirk. I mean, the man was shot. Now we have to turn the temperature down. It’s like we can’t compare people to these kinds of figures in history. And this is not an autocrat. This is a product of a democratic election."
He's right, but...
Fetterman, of course, is 100% right about this, but many Democrats simply do not want to hear it.
One example would be U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), one of the more controversial members of Congress.
Following the assassination of Kirk, Crockett attempted to defend the left's calling of Trump "Hitler."
Fox News reports Crockett as saying:
We got to talk about, like that, that is next level. Me disagreeing with you, me calling you, you know, ‘wannabe Hitler,’ all those things are like, not necessarily saying, 'Go out and hurt somebody.' But when you're literally telling people at rallies, 'Yeah, beat them up' and that kind of stuff, you are promoting a culture of violence.
Fox adds, "During the same interview, she argued the vast majority of mass shootings are linked to 'White supremacy ideology.'"
