An embarrassing moment involving the president was caught on camera this past weekend, and it only ended when First Lady Jill Biden rushed in to help.

According to Britain's GB News, President Joe Biden delivered a speech on Saturday at a dinner event organized by the left-wing a Human Right's Campaign.

Biden struggles to find exit

Viral video footage shows how at the conclusion of his remarks, Biden apparently became confused about how to exit the stage, prompting his wife to come forward and offer assistance.

GB News noted that this is hardly the first time that Mr. Biden has shown signs of being uncertain and disoriented at public events.

One recent example came when the 80-year-old commander in chief inexplicably walked off after awarding Army Cpt. Larry Taylor the Medal of Honor.

President told reports he has "no home to go to"

In addition to getting lost, the president also has a long track record of making bizarre and even nonsensical statements to those around him.

The Associated Press reported that one example came last month when Biden was visiting Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

After attending Mass at St. Edmond Roman Catholic Church, the president told reporters who were standing outside that he has "no home to go to" when he's out of the White House.

"By the way, the reason I'm here today, just for one day, I know...I'm not on vacation. I'm not. I have no home to go to," the president insisted.

Poll shows only one quarter of Americans think Biden is fit to be president

Later that month, Fox News reported that Biden told reporters at a press conference in Vietnam he was "going to bed" after taking a total of five questions.

Incidents such as these may help explain why a CNN poll conducted between August 25 and August 31 found that 28% only said the president inspires confidence while just 26% felt Biden possesses enough stamina and sharpness to serve in the White House.
