First Lady Melania Trump shared tremendous news from the White House this week that many American citizens were thrilled to hear.

According to the New York Post, First Lady Melania Trump made a bombshell announcement this week regarding White House tours, saying that they will once again be open to the public.

The White House tours were paused right as Trump was entering his second term in the White House, and are set to reopen on Feb. 25, the first lady announced.

Melania Trump said she was "excited" to break the news, as White House tours have always been a hit, especially with younger generations wanting to know more about the executive branch and its deep, storied history.

What did she say?

In a statement released Wednesday, the first lady confirmed that White House tours will once again be open to the public.

"The President and I are excited to reopen the White House to those interested in the extraordinary story of this iconic and beautiful landmark," the statement read.

"There is much to learn about the American Presidency, the First Families who have lived here, and our Nation’s rich history from a firsthand experience at the White House," the first lady's statement added.

"This opportunity is unique among nations around the globe — a tradition we are honored to continue for the hundreds of thousands of visitors who come each year."

The New York Post noted:

Tours of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave include the public rooms in the East Wing of the building and the Residence — including the Vermeil Room, the Library, the China Room, the Blue Room, Red Room, Green Room, the State Dining Room and a view of the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, according to the White House.

Another X user wrote, "The People's President and First Lady!"

People interested in taking a tour of the White House can request the tour through their representatives up to three months in advance. It's a somewhat difficult process, but well worth it.
