Former AZ Gov. Doug Ducey says Harris will have to answer for failed border policies

Vice President Kamala Harris might currently enjoy the mainstream media hype boost given that she's now the Democratic Party's presidential nominee.

However, that enjoyment seems to be coming to a halt as she'll now be forced to speak on her record -- which there isn't much of. At all.

Though the White House, Democrats in Congress, and her allies in the mainstream media are pretending that she was never appointed as the "border czar," many want her to answer for her grossly failed leadership on the border issue.

According to the New York Post, one of those people is former Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, a leader who knows all too well the damage that Harris and President Joe Biden caused with their lack of attention to the matter and wide-open border policies.

What did he say?

Ducey held nothing back in an exclusive interview with the outlet, starting by saying "I laughed out loud when you addressed her as the border czar."

The former AZ governor is not a fan of the Biden administration's approach to the border situation, especially compared to how it was under former President Donald Trump. While it was still messy, Trump's administration had a grip on the issue, to say the least.

"I served alongside three presidents: Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden. Joe Biden was by far the worst on the border," Ducey told the outlet.

He added, "Today, the border is wide open and unprotected. Kamala Harris had never been to the border. She had never taken the border issue seriously as a United States senator or as vice president."

Ducey explained to The Post that given her current position of running for president, she'll now have to answer for her failures, including the pathetic fact that she's never even visited Arizona's border with Mexico.

"She’s never been to Arizona’s border to this date. And that is an issue that she has failed on…This was all avoidable with attention to the border, and this is something that Kamala Harris will have to answer for in this presidential campaign," Ducey continued.

"Game-changer"

Ducey revealed some of his strategies for reaching voters in Arizona for the upcoming election.

"The political discussion is deeply divided. It’s highly focused on personalities, and we want to talk about a principle, free enterprise, and the policies that support it," Ducey said.

The NY Post noted:

No one out there is doing what we’re doing,” Ducey said. “Most everyone else is focused on the same people that are highly invested, and it’s a turnout game on that side.”

“We’re focused on people that everyone else is missing, but could be game changers in these elections when we engage them.”

Ducey correctly pointed out that focusing on Biden's inflation and the economic disaster he and Harris unleashed on the nation will be key reminders for voters in November.
