Former Obama aide says Trump could impact Supreme Court

We're still months away from the 2024 election, and Democrats are so sure that Joe Biden is about to get smashed by Donald J. Trump that they're already trying to scare America by predicting what will happen after our 45th president becomes our 47th president.

Liberals are terrified that Donald Trump could appoint up to two more Supreme Court judges, leaving the court with what they're calling a "MAGA majority."

TheHill.com is reporting that Dan Pfeiffer, a former adviser for Barack Hussein Obama, recently sounded the alarm on the fact that Donald Trump could have appointed up to SIX Supreme Court judges by the time everything is all said and done.

Since Supreme Court justices are allowed to stay in the seat until they retire or die, Trump may set up America with a MAGA Supreme Court for years and years to come.

Aging out

Donald Trump appointed three judges during his first term as America's president. Those three were Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, and Brett Kavanaugh.

Trump may get to appoint just as many in his second term, as there are at least three judges who might be ready to ride off into the sunset.

"By the end of Trump’s second term — were he to win — [Justice Clarence] Thomas will be 82, [Justice Samuel] Alito will be 78," Dan Pfeiffer claimed. Pfeiffer claims to know that Thomas and Alito are "definitely retiring."

Justice Sonia Sotomayor

It looks as though Alito and Clarence Thomas would aim to retire during Donald Trump's next turn, but the future of Sonia Sotomayor doesn't seem as clear as the others.

Despite not being as old as the other two, Sotomayor's failing health has often placed her at the top of the list of Supreme Court judges likely to retire. Liberals have been pressuring her to step down while Joe Biden is still in office so that a liberal could appoint her replacement, but Sotomayor hasn't agreed to that plan yet.

Alito and Thomas are generally conservative themselves, so while we would want Trump to replace them with conservatives as well, it wouldn't be as massive of a win as getting to flip a liberal justice conservative.

If Sotomayor retires during Donald Trump's term, that's exactly what will happen.

Trump's possible plan

"If he gets two appointments, that means he will have appointed five Supreme Court Justices, all of whom will be around or below the age of 60 when he leaves office," Pfeiffer said. "That is a MAGA court majority that will rule for decades."

Pfeiffer was trying to scare the audience when he made that comment, but that's EXACTLY what much of America would love to see happen.
