A former Obama Administration official just revealed the truth about the southern border crisis: that President Joe Biden is releasing illegal immigrants into the United States with distant court dates and that this policy is only going to make the situation worse.

The former Obama Administration official is John Sandweg. On Friday, he made an appearance on CNN's CNN News Central, where he spoke about the ongoing southern border crisis.

Sandweg does have some above-average understanding of the situation as he was the Obama Administration's acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) director. At one point, he was also the former acting general counsel to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Sandweg, during his CNN appearance, spoke about what to expect now that Title 42 has come to an end and what to expect with the southern border policies that Biden is now implementing.

"That's what's going to continue to draw people here"

Sandweg, while arguing that the continuation of the southern border crisis results from a lack of resources to address the problem, made a couple of important points.

The first is that the Biden administration is releasing illegal immigrants into the United States with distant court dates.

Sandweg said:

Look, I hate to say it a lot of the people the majority the people we're seeing these images of will be released into the United States. They will be subject to enforcement. They will have court dates but those court dates won't be for three, four, five years before there's a decision on their asylum case.

This fact, Sandweg went on to argue, will only exacerbate the southern border crisis.

Sandweg said:

And just -- that's what's going to continue to draw people here. And it's hard to say that we have true enforcement unless and until we have a system in place where, you know, look, I want to give asylum that people deserve it. But at the same time, we just can't take three, four, or five years to make a determination.

It's really happening.

Sandweg did not make up the fact that illegal immigrants are being released into the United States by the Biden administration with distant court dates.

Take a look at this tweet from reporter Tayler Hansen:

So, someone can illegally enter the United States and simply be allowed to live there for four years.

It certainly looks as though the Biden Administration is incentivizing illegal immigration.
