Former Trump staffer Camryn Kinsey faints during live broadcast on Fox News
A veteran of the first Trump White House, who now works as a political strategist, suffered a frightening incident on live TV this week.
Former White House aide Camryn Kinsey appeared to faint and fall to the floor while speaking during an appearance on Fox News on Thursday evening, according to the Daily Caller.
As scary as that episode may have been for Kinsey, the Fox News host and staffers, plus viewers at home, the Republican operative has since revealed that she is "doing well" and will be fine.
Guest faints during live broadcast
Kinsey, the CEO and founder of Titan Media Strategies, appeared on "Fox News @ Night" on Thursday with guest host Jonathan Hunt to discuss recent comments made by former President Joe Biden about sexism being the reason for the failed 2024 presidential run of former Vice President Kamala Harris.
"The only mention, messaging point that Trump had during his campaign was Kamala is for they/them, Trump is for you," Kinsey explained. "That was referencing defending women and defending women's spaces, women’s sports."
"So, this is what they have to do, they have to rewrite history, because they had a failed campaign, they had a failed presidency," she continued. “They put her as the Border Czar, she never went to the border. So this is about incompetency, it’s not about, uh, ideology, or, uh, it's not about, uh ..."
It was at that point that Kinsey suddenly seemed to lose consciousness and fall from her chair to the floor, prompting an exclamation of "Oh my!" from Hunt, who initially attempted to go to fellow guest and New York Post reporter Lydia Moynihan as staffers rushed on set to tend to Kinsey, before deciding seconds later to instead cut to a commercial break.
Following that break, Hunt informed viewers, "We want to give you a quick update on Camryn Kinsey, who some of you may have seen appear to faint just before we went to a break. Camryn is up and moving. We have paramedics checking her out now. We will keep you updated. Of course, we wish Camryn all the best."
Updates on Kinsey's health
After that incident, a Fox News spokesperson told the Daily Caller, "After Fox News @ Night guest Camryn Kinsey fainted during a live on-air appearance last night in our Los Angeles bureau, paramedics were called and she was treated and cleared. We are happy to hear she is now feeling much better and wish her a speedy recovery."
The Daily Caller also reached out to Kinsey for comment but received no response, though she did address the matter in an X post on Friday morning, in which she wrote, "Wow, sorry for the scare last night."
"I want to start by thanking the incredible Fox News team and the EMTs who responded with such speed and care. It was an unexpected and frightening moment, but thanks to their professionalism and kindness, I’m doing well," she continued. "To everyone who has called, texted, prayed, or checked in, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support has meant the world."
"I’m taking it slow, staying hydrated, letting my body rest, and thanking the Lord that everything is okay," Kinsey added. "It may not have been how I planned to end the segment, but I’ll be back on your TV soon. Hopefully long enough to finally finish my point about Kamala!"
White House staffer, reporter, and political strategist
According to Kinsey's LinkedIn profile, she served for the final six months of President Trump's first term in the White House as an external relations director for the Presidential Personnel Office.
Following her brief tenure as a White House staffer, Kinsey worked for more than a year as a producer and reporter for One America News Network, including as a White House correspondent, before transitioning to a public relations firm in 2023 and then launching her Florida-based Titan Media Strategies company last summer.
