Republicans have long claimed that President Joe Biden and his family have exploited public service for personal gain.

Yet as Fox News reported this week, someone who worked in the Obama administration is now making similar claims. 

Stenographer accuses the president of running a kickback scheme

Mike McCormick was employed as a White House stenographer during Joe Biden's vice presidency, and McCormick told "Fox & Friends First" on Thursday that he has offered to testify before the federal grand jury investigating Hunter Biden.

"In February, I went to the FBI and filed one of their tips on their website. If you do that, and you're lying to them, you go to jail. I'm not lying. I'm telling the truth, and I'm not going to jail," McCormick insisted.

"Joe Biden is a criminal. He was conducting malfeasance in office to enrich his family. Jake Sullivan is a conspirator in that, and there's more... Obama officials involved in it, I believe," the former stenographer continued.

He went on to assert that current National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan helped craft American energy policy to benefit Burisma, a Ukrainian energy firm which employed Hunter Biden.

McCormick spoke of an incident he says took place aboard Air Force Two on April 21, 2014 just before Biden was scheduled to visit Kyiv.

"I'm sitting back there with a tape recorder. Jake Sullivan comes back and somebody asks about fracking. His answer is, well, we're bringing a lot of American assistance over for fracking. Burisma was the direct beneficiary of that fracking, and that's what I recorded, and that's in a White House transcript," McCormick said.

"In the transcript, you don't know who Jake Sullivan is. It's a senior administration official. I'm the witness that says Jake Sullivan is the guy who said it and he should be investigated because at the time Hunter Biden was on the board of Burisma and Joe Biden is bringing American taxpayer money to enrich that company and himself and his family," he declared.

The New York Post noted that a White House transcript shows Sullivan saying that increasing investment in Ukraine's energy sector would be one of the vice president's priorities.

McCormick accuses U.S. attorney of running "fraudulent grand jury"

What's more, Congress subsequently earmarked $50 million for Ukraine's energy market months after Joe Biden's visit.

McCormick later lashed out at U.S. Attorney David Weiss for not having him appear before the Delaware grand jury that is investigating Hunter Biden.

"If David Weiss can't have me in front of his grand jury explaining what I know as a witness, that's a fraudulent grand jury," he complained.

"It's a fraudulent use of the American judicial system to cover for Barack Obama and Joe Biden's crimes in office," McCormick added.
