Gold Star parents slam Biden-Harris admin for Kabul airport bombing that killed 13 US troops
Earlier this week marked three years since the tragic day that 13 U.S. service members were killed in Afghanistan in the Abbey Gate explosion under President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris' watch.
According to Fox News, some of the Gold Star family members of those killed spoke out against Biden and especially Harris as she continues to compete to win the White House in November.
The deadly attack happened at the Kabul airport during the Biden-Harris administration's disastrous and deadly withdrawal of U.S. troops.
Mark Schmitz, father of late Marine Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz, held nothing back as he slammed Harris, saying "she owns this."
What did he say?
In an interview with Fox News, Schmitz made it clear that Harris has just as much accountability for happened that day as Biden does.
"She owns this as much as he [Biden] does," he said.
Schmitz added, "She's following in the policies that Joe Biden has ushered in during his presidency and obviously, neither one of them know what the heck they're doing. And that terrifies me, because we know we can't bring our kids back."
"But what we want to see is the military that is out in the field right now – those families are never going to be put through what we've been put through. It's been absolutely shameful."
"It's sad that it's taken three years for Biden to put into print the names of the victims from the withdrawal from Afghanistan." - Mark Schmitz, father of Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jared M. Schmitz.
