Capitol Hill Republicans have been in contact with multiple individuals who say they witnessed wrongdoing by President Joe Biden as well as those in his inner circle.
Yet in a disturbing turn of events, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer announced this weekend that some of those witnesses have vanished.
Comer made that statement on Sunday during an interview with Fox News host Maria Bartrimono, saying that "nine of the ten people that we've identified that have very good knowledge with respect to the Bidens are "one of three things."
"They're either currently in court, they're currently in jail, or they're currently missing," the Kentucky congressman told Bartrimono.
"So it's of the utmost importance that the FBI work with us to be able to try to identify what research they've done, what investigations they've done, because we have people that want to come forward," he insisted.
"But honestly, they fear for their lives. Not only are the Biden lawyers and the Biden White House intimidating them, the media is trying to intimidate and discredit them," Comer added.
The Republican lawmaker went on to say he knows who is behind the intimidation campaign but will reveal the information at "a later time."
Really chilling clip.

Comer's declaration led some to fear he was speaking of a whistleblower who came forward earlier this year with allegations that the FBI has been sitting on a document outlining illegal dealings by members of the Biden family.
However, an Oversight Committee spokesperson informed Newsweek on Monday that Comer was not referring to the FBI document whistleblower.
"Many key witnesses to the Biden family's influence-peddling schemes are either in court, potentially facing prison, or missing," the spokesperson was quoted as saying.
"The whistleblower who has come forward about the FBI record alleging that then-Vice President Joe Biden engaged in a bribery scheme with a foreign national isn't missing," the spokesperson added.
Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene sits on the House Oversight Committee and she also stressed in a tweet that the FBI whistleblower is not missing.
Just to be clear.
Our whistle blower for Joe Biden is not missing. https://t.co/LfNlr2JBmv
