Many Americans were stunned this past week to learn that former President Joe Biden is suffering from advanced prostate cancer.

The revelation led one Republican lawmaker who is also a physician to conclude that Biden will be "incapacitated" within six months.

Senator: "Joe Biden is going to be totally mentally incapacitated in six months"

According to the Daily Caller, that prediction was made by Kansas Sen. Roger Marshall during an interview on Thursday with podcast host Vince Coglianese.

"We would be in a full-blown constitutional crisis if the president of the United States were an invalid, incapable of doing the job, and other people were doing it for him," Coglianese remarked

"That’s completely unconstitutional, senator. Shouldn’t there be a way to address this?" the podcast host went on to inquire.

“So there absolutely is. And there needs to be some type of hearings and investigations on it," replied Marshall, who is a former obstetrician and gynecologist.

“One last point I want to make here, Vince, is that the next chapter in this book is that Joe Biden is going to be totally mentally incapacitated in six months," the senator added.

Marshall: "The American people deserve the truth"

The Daily Caller noted how two days before speaking with Coglianese, Marshall had put up a social media post in which he also called for an investigation.

"For four years, the Biden Administration lied to the American people. Even after leaving office, the deception continues," he wrote.

"The American people deserve the truth about Joe Biden’s health during his presidency and anything else they’ve been hiding," the senator stressed.

Newly released audio raises new questions about Biden's mental state

Biden's cancer diagnosis isn't the only cause for renewed interest in his health, as a newly released audio recording of his 2023 interview with then Special Counsel Robert Hur have raised questions as well.

During their exchange, Biden gave rambling answers in which he sounded confused about major events in his life and the country's history.

At various times, the then president mixed up the year his son passed away as well when he left the Senate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ran for president.
