Former President Donald Trump just got slammed with a MARRIAGE SHOCKER from GOP candidate Nikki Haley.

Trump went after Haley’s marriage in a recent speech, questioning the whereabouts of Haley’s husband.

“What happened to her husband? Where is he? He’s gone. He knew. He knew,” Trump said while speaking in South Carolina.

The decision to drag Haley’s husband into the mix quickly backfired on the former president.

Haley took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to defend her marriage.

“Michael is deployed serving our country, something you know nothing about,’ Haley wrote in her recent post.

The backlash did not stop there.

Before introducing Haley at recent rally, state Representative Chris Wooten made the comment that “When you start talking about a veteran serving overseas, I don’t care if you know them or not, that should make your heart sick.”

Haley also addressed Donald Trump’s recent comments during the rally.

“Donald, if you have something to say, don’t say it behind my back. Get on a debate stage and say it to my face,” she said

Haley’s husband of nearly 30 years, Michael Haley, also appeared to have taken a swipe at Trump on X, sharing a joke about the difference “between human and animals” with the punchline of “animals would never allow the dumbest ones to lead the pack.”

Haley and her husband have been married for nearly 30 years.

This is not the first time Haley has had to defend her marriage.

She faced separate allegations of affairs in 2010 and claimed the entire time that she was faithful to her husband.

Donald Trump is better than this.

He has to hold himself to a higher standard and fact check his information before he starts letting accusations fly.

If he is not careful, this could start to affect the way people view him.

The reason countless Americans love Donald Trump is because he is not like the other politicians out there.

But, to be different from the rest, the former president MUST hold himself to a higher standard.
