Heckler has to be removed from Harris rally

Vice President Kamala Harris's recent campaign rally in Michigan did not go as planned.

The New York Post reports that the rally temporarily got halted in order for authorities to remove a disruptive protestor.

This sort of thing is not that unusual at a political rally, but what makes this situation so interesting is how Harris handled it.

As the Post put it, Harris was "rattled."

Background

As you, the reader, are probably aware, Democrats like Harris have a difficult task in the upcoming election. On the one hand they after to appear as though they are pro-Isreel - so as not to lose centrists - and on the other they have to appear as though they are anti-Isreal so as not to lose radicals.

No one really has any doubts about where Harris stands on this issue. She has repeatedly shown herself to align with the anti-Isreal crowd.

The crazy part, however, is that anti-Isreal voters do not seem to believe that she is sufficiently anti-Isreal.

You will now understand why it is that Harris was heckled by an anti-Isreal protestor at her rally in Kalamazoo, Michigan on Saturday.

The Post reports:

We are fighting for America’s future, and we understand the opportunity we have before us to turn the page on the fear—” Harris said, as she got cut off. “No more Gaza war!” a man in the crowd was heard yelling repeatedly.

Harris gets "rattled"

Harris attempted to power through the heckler's scream, but the protestor did manage to get Harris to stop her speech.

At this point, she started looking around, and, as she did so, members of the crowd attempted to drown out the heckler with boos and then chants of "Kamala." While she was looking around, Harris had a look of concern on her face, as if this was all too much for her to handle.

She did, however, manage to compose herself, and when things settled down, Harris said, "On the topic of Gaza, we must end that war." You can see the whole incident for yourself in the video located at the end of this article.

Harris has run into a number of problems like this in recent weeks. She was also interrupted, for example, at a rally that took place in Pennsylvania over the weekend.
