House Oversight Committee will subpoena Joe Biden's physician

This past week has seen Americans shocked by major new revelations concerning the mental and physical health of former President Joe Biden.

In response, one congressional figure has announced that criminal charges could be on the table for those who helped conceal those details. 

House Oversight Committee will subpoena Biden's doctor

According to Breitbart, that suggestion was made on Wednesday by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer during an appearance on "The Alex Marlow Show."

Comer pointed to the announcement that Biden is suffering from advanced prostate cancer as well as the release of audio from his incoherent 2023 interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur.

"We want to bring the doctor in," Comer said of Biden's physician. "We want to know who was telling [him] to issue a report that says Joe Biden was a picture of health. I mean, obviously that wasn’t factual. Are you that incompetent as a doctor?"

"Or were you being threatened by Joe Biden to say that, or by the Democratic National Committee to say [that], or by George Soros to say that?" he continued.

Comer: "The Department of Justice can prosecute"

"To get what we need, the information we want to obtain, we’re going to have to do it by depositions and interviews, and look, after that, we can have a hearing," Comer explained.

However, the Kentucky Republican acknowledged that the House Oversight Committee's powers only extend to gathering information.

"We want to work with the Trump administration because all I can do is investigate. I can’t prosecute," Comer pointed out.

"If I could prosecute, there would be Biden family members in prison now. There would be Deep State actors in prison. But Pam Bondi can prosecute. The Department of Justice can prosecute," he stressed.

Committee will investigate "potentially unauthorized autopen use"

One day after Comer's interview with Marlow, the House Oversight Committee announced that it will solicit "testimony from Biden's doctor" and investigate "potentially unauthorized autopen use for sweeping executive actions."

"The cover-up of President Biden’s obvious mental decline is a historic scandal," the House Oversight Committee's chairman said in a statement.

"The American people deserve to know when this decline began, how far it progressed, and who was making critical decisions on his behalf," Comer asserted.
