Fox News reported that President Joe Biden visited Northern Ireland on Tuesday to commemorate the 1998 Good Friday Agreement which brought peace to the area.

Accompanying the president was his sister, Valerie Biden Owens, as well his son, Hunter Biden. Including Hunter on the trip was in some ways a curious move given recent revelations about his business practices.

White House logs show regular visits by Hunter Biden's associates

Fox News revealed this week that a collection of Hunter Biden's business associates visited the White House at least 80 times when his father was vice president.

Among them was Joan Mayer, who served as vice president of the now-defunct Rosemont Seneca Partners, an investment firm that Hunter Biden cofounded.

Fox News pointed to White House visitor logs showing Mayer made a total of 17 trips to the White House over the course of Joe Biden's vice presidency.

During one visit in October of 2009, Mayer sat in on a vice presidential briefing and met with Biden aide Danielle Borrin.

Hunter Biden's assistant joined his father's staff

This was followed by a meeting in November of that year with Nancy Orloff, who served as the vice president's executive assistant.

July of 2013 saw Mayer make another White House trip, which this time featured a meeting with another executive assistant named Kellen Suber.

Another five White House visits were made by one of Hunter Biden's assistants at Rosemont Seneca, Anne Marie Person. Person's brother was a member of the vice president's staff and she later went to work in the White House as well.

Meanwhile, Fox News reported last month that the man who distributed $1 million in Chinese funds to various Biden family members was also a frequent White House visitor.

"We don't know what the Bidens did in return for the money"

The network noted that House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer obtained banking records detailing how John Robinson "Rob" Walker received the money from a now-bankrupt Chinese energy company known as CEFC.

The cash was then divided between Hunter Biden, his sister-in-law Hallie Biden, and uncle Jim Biden over a three-month period in 2017.

"In the beginning, the White House denied having any knowledge or the fact that their family was involved in any sort of way, shape or form with the CCP. But now we have bank records that reveal otherwise," Comer was quoted as telling Fox News host Maria Bartrimono.

"We don't know what the Bidens did in return for this money. The lawyer said that it was seed capital for a business. We haven't been able to find a business. Right now it looks like the Biden family just pocketed this money," he added.
