Hunter Biden, the embattled son of President Joe Biden, was just seen aboard Air Force One with his father. 

The New York Post reports that the two were seen together on Friday.

Per the outlet:

Hunter, 54, grinned slightly as he approached the presidential jet at Dover Air Force Base alongside wife Melissa Cohen and their 4-year-old son, Beau, after spending the night in Rehoboth Beach — with Hunter carrying young Beau up the steps of the plane.

What cannot be overlooked is the timing of all of this.

Three days before...

The Post highlights the fact that this took place "on Friday as President Biden returned to the White House one day after former President Donald Trump’s hush money criminal conviction in New York and three days before Hunter himself stands trial on federal charges in Delaware.

Hunter Biden's trial is set to begin on Monday. This is the case that is related to his purchase and possession of a firearm in October 2018. He stands accused of lying about his drug addiction problem on the paperwork to obtain the gun.

This is a crime that could result in prison time, up to 25 years. Many, however, don't believe that this will happen.

There are a lot of questions about this case, including the extent to which the Biden White House is influencing things.

There has recently been some controversial development, in this regard.

Biden caught meeting with a key witness

Separately, the New York Post reports that President Biden was caught visiting Hallie Biden - who is expected to be a major witness in Hunter Biden's trial. She is the one who disposed of the gun in a public dumpster a few days after its purchase.

"President Biden made a surprise nighttime visit to the Delaware home of Hallie Biden on Sunday — just before she’s due to serve as one of the most important witnesses at first son Hunter Biden’s federal trial for alleged gun crimes," the Post reports.

This has led to all kinds of questions about what Biden could have been doing there. Was he trying to influence her testimony? Was he trying to give her directions about what to say? Etc.

The White House, for its part, is trying to claim that, during the visit, Biden did not speak with Hallie Biden about the upcoming trial.

Other than the meetup with Hallie Biden, President Biden is said to have been spending a lot of time with Hunter Biden ahead of the trial, as their Air Force One appearance would suggest.
