A new battle is arising among Biden family members over how to deal with GOP investigations aimed at Hunter Biden.
The first son has retained new legal counsel who is set to coordinate new efforts to deal with the latest strategy over his laptop and other scandals.

"Kevin Morris, a Hollywood attorney who has been retained by Hunter Biden to 'craft legal and media strategy,' reportedly believes the Biden family should take a more aggressive position against the GOP investigations by remaining in the public eye, along with suing conservative media networks and some Republicans for defamation concerning information discovered on the 'Laptop from Hell,'" Breitbart News reports.
"Others in the Biden orbit believe the family should take a far less aggressive approach, staying out of the public view and allowing the White House and congressional Democrats to combat the investigations through public relations," it added.

"Committee Republicans have spoken with multiple whistleblowers from numerous schemes involving the Biden family, reviewed Hunter Biden's laptop, and received documents of previously unknown transactions," House Oversight Committee Chairman-to-be Rep. James Comer told a news conference on Nov. 17.
"What we found are business plans aimed at targets around the world based on influence peddling, including with people closely tied to foreign governments like China and Russia... [The Bidens] flourished and became millionaires by simply offering access to 'The Family," he added.

In addition to the Hunter Biden laptop, a serious investigation could target his role as a board member of a company in Ukraine and other international business deals.
The first son also has a gun charge in the past that has yet to receive a full investigation, complete with involvement from the Secret service.
The concern among Biden's legal team will be how to deal with GOP tactics to uncover the information, including what to admit and what information to ignore as part of its back and forth with conservatives.
The battle is likely to begin in January, as upcoming Republican House leaders are already announcing plans to investigate.
Whether the efforts will lead to any major changes with Hunter will soon be seen. The attacks will also play a role in the 2024 presidential election as the president considers running for reelection.
