The Israeli government revealed on Sunday that it will begin releasing raw, unedited footage of the horrifying crimes committed by Hamas terrorists earlier this month.

According to the Washington Examiner, that announcement was made by government spokesman Eylon Levy, who said the move is being made to counter attempts at minimizing the atrocities.

"We are witnessing a Holocaust denial-like phenomenon"

"Unfortunately, and I can't believe I'm saying this, and I can't believe that we as a country are having to do this; as we work to defeat the terror organization that brutalized our people, we are witnessing a Holocaust denial-like phenomenon evolving in real-time," Levy was quoted as saying.

Levy explained that the images are being taken from body cameras and cells phones taken from Hamas terrorists who were killed or captured.

He said the images will feature "gruesome and as yet unseen footage of the barbarities" which had previously not been made available to media outlets.

Outpouring of support for Hamas

Hamas has seen an upswing in support from demonstrators in recent weeks, with some demonstrators attempting to justify its actions.

Libs of TikTok is a conservative account on the social media platform previously known as Twitter, and on October 16 it released footage showing students at New York University tearing down pictures of Hamas' kidnapping victims.

Motorist swarmed at demonstration in Minneapolis

Meanwhile, pro-Hamas flags were observed at a street takeover in Minneapolis this past weekend that turned violent.

At one point, an elderly driver was chased down the street as rioters shouted threats and attempted to break into his vehicle.
