Ivanka Trump reportedly leaving behind self-imposed solitude, increasingly spotted attending elite social events

Following the controversy that surrounded the end of her father's presidency, former first daughter Ivanka Trump largely avoided the public spotlight and retreated with her husband and children to a relatively quiet and private life in Miami, Florida for the past couple of years.

There are, however, signs that Ivanka has begun to reemerge from her self-imposed solitude and rejoin the wealthy socialite scene she was once an integral part of before former President Donald Trump's entrance into politics, the SheKnows website reported.

That includes Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner being spotted in recent days alongside other famous stars at a new "celebrity hotspot" in Miami, as well as her being a prominent guest at Kim Kardashian's big birthday bash in Los Angeles, California in October.

Seen out and about in Miami's nightlife scene

According to the New York Post's Page Six, Ivanka and Jared were recently seen at the popular upscale Art Basel fair in Miami Beach and were later spotted in attendance at an exclusive party at a hot new nightclub known as Casadonna.

The couple were observed making the rounds and talking with others and were even seen hanging out in the DJ booth with famed South Korean DJ Peggy Gou and Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio.

Other celebrities at the event that Ivanka and Jared reportedly interacted with included actor Leonardo DiCaprio and his latest young girlfriend, Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, as well as influential TikTok sensation Alix Earle and her NFL star boyfriend, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios.

Invited to attend Kim Kardashian's birthday celebration

About a month and a half earlier, Page Six previously reported that Ivanka had been invited as a personal guest of Kim Kardashian to be part of her small circle of friends in celebration of her 43rd birthday in Los Angeles in late October.

Ivanka, who had befriended Kardashian years before her father entered politics -- and likely played a role in Kim's visit to the White House to discuss prison reform issues with then-President Trump -- was prominently featured in many of the photos from the event that were later posted on social media.

In one sense, it was like Ivanka had never left the elite social circles she once ran in, though the reality of things was rudely brought back into focus by some of Kardashian's more politically partisan social media followers, who Page Six noted complained in the comments about Ivanka's presence at the birthday celebration.

Distanced herself from her father's politics but still being "shunned" by some former friends

As SheKnows reported, Ivanka Trump made a conscious decision to step away from the public spotlight when former President Trump left office and made it especially clear that she no longer had any desire "to be involved in politics" after having served for four years as a senior White House advisor to her father.

In fact, she has even distanced herself from her father's re-election campaign, and said in 2022 following the launch of that campaign, "While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena."

Yet, despite Ivanka's undeniable effort to disassociate herself from politics and the controversies around the former president, SheKnows noted that both Ivanka and Jared continue to feel "shunned" by some of their former socialite friends and "unhappy" with how they've been treated because of her father's presidency.

And, while it does appear that Ivanka has begun to venture back out into the social scene, it will likely still be some time, if ever, before she makes any sort of triumphant return to the high-end fashion industry she was once a major player in.

The outlet cited an unnamed CNN insider who said of Ivanka and Jared, "The fashion industry is a very liberal, Democratic-leaning group, and I just don’t see them welcoming them back -- professionally or socially -- with open arms."
