Ivanka Trump, eldest daughter of presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, has returned to hobnobbing with celebrities and billionaires like Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos while her father attends trials and campaigns for president.

Most recently, Trump's daughter attended the wedding of billionaire heir Anant Ambani and fiancée Radhika Merchant along with Gates, Mark Zuckerburg, Hillary Clinton, and Bob Iger in India, seeming far more concerned with her wardrobe than her father's political fortunes.

The multinight event featured multiple fashion-forward outfits and plenty of well-wishes for the happy couple.

No more politics

Ivanka and her husband and three children have been living in Miami for the past three years and have no intention of coming back to Washington to be involved in her father's administration again.

She has said previously that her foray into politics is over and that she plans to live a quieter life away from the kind of virulent criticism she faced during Trump's campaign and first term.

After Trump launched his campaign in early 2023, Ivanka made a statement saying, "I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics."

While focusing on her family and private sector endeavors, the family has also had her grandmother Marie Zelníčková living with them in Miami for the last several years, according to social media posts.

Her involvement with her father's campaign and administration from 2015 to 2020 led to the loss of her popular clothing line after major retailers like Nordstrom boycotted it. She also lost many celebrity friends as the animosity toward her father grew.

A friend of Ivanka's told the New York Post in 2022 that losing her mother Ivana at age 73 after a fall also impacted her decision to live to the fullest and not return to the stress and intensity of the political life.

Re-entering the glamorous life

Instead, she's choosing to re-enter high society, palling around with Kim Kardashian and other ultra-rich celebrity types.

While some seem to be holding grudges about her support for her conservative and much-hated father, most have accepted that she is separating herself from him publicly, if not privately.

As far as work, Ivanka has said she is working on investments into things she feels passionate about, including charities.

It's something she can balance with family time as her children grow older and get involved in their own activities and pursuits.
