Ivanka Trump just left a message in the locker room of the National Football League (NFL) player who recently called her "beautiful."

President Donald Trump's daughter, according to the New York Post, posted photographs of the message on her social media account.

Before you get the wrong idea, Ivanka Trump is a happily married woman, having multiple children with Jared Kushner.

In other words, this was all done in good fun, and the president's daughter made that clear in her messages.

Background

The NFL player is the Philadelphia Eagles' Eli Ricks. You may remember that he garnered a lot of attention last month when he called Ivanka Trump "beautiful" and said that she is "exactly my type."

Ricks made the remarks after his recent trip to the White House, alongside his teammates. He, at the time, wrote:

Donald Trump's daughter is beautiful. Damn. After seeing her in person, Ivanka is exactly my type.

Suffice it to say that the remarks garnered widespread attention, and, apparently, they were also viewed by Ivanka Trump. This is evidenced by the fact that she recently decided to have a little fun with the situation.

Take a look:

"Missed you."

On Friday, Ivanka Trump responded to Ricks' messages. She did so with a photograph showing that she left a note for Ricks in his locker, at the Philadelphia Eagles' facility. She captioned the photograph, "Missed you today!" attaching a winking emoji and a laughing emoji.

The note that she left for Ricks said, "Stopped by to say hi! Sorry to miss you! Go Birds! Ivanka"

It appears that Ivanka Trump was there to do more than just meet with Ricks, should the occasion have presented itself. Instead, she took her family to the facility, and, afterward, she posted images of messages of the fun time that she and her family had.

In one message, she wrote:

Thank you Howie Roseman, Big Dom and amazing team at the Philadelphia @Eagles for an epic tour of your incredible training facility today ! My son Theo and his flag football team had a day they will never forget !!

The president's daughter posted several other messages from the day, including multiple videos of Theo and other youngsters playing some flag football. In response to Ivanka's message, Ricks wrote, "My apologies. I owe you a glass of wine now xx!"
