Ivanka Trump's first Instagram post of 2024 suggests that she is going to continue to focus on family while avoiding politics. 

At least, this is the conclusion that some - including SheKnows writer Delilah Gray - have made based on Trump's first Instagram Post of 2024.

Ivanka highlights her family life

The above Instagram post is from a trip that Ivanka Trump and her family recently took to Aspen.

The post includes several photographs from the trip, including photographs of Ivanka, her husband - Jared Kushner - and the couple's three children. The photographs show the family skiing, doing puzzles, sled riding, and - more generally - having a good family time.

This is clearly what the photographs are meant to highlight: Ivanka and her family.

Ordinarily, such a post would not be a newsworthy item. What makes this post newsworthy is the fact that Ivanka Trump is the daughter of former President Donald Trump - who is currently the clear favorite to win the Republican Party's nomination to be the next president of the United States.

Both Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner played large roles in Donald Trump's presidential administration. The question now is whether they are going to help Trump to win in 2024 and whether they will be part of Trump's next administration should he, once again, win the presidency.

Has Ivanka made her choice?

Ivanka Trump has already stated, publicly, that she is done with politics. She did so at about the same time that her father announced his intention to seek the presidency in 2024.

At the time - in mid-November 2022 - Ivanka Trump said:

I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics. While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena. I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our administration’s accomplishments.

Thus far, Ivanka has remained true to her word.

Ivanka has avoided politics, and her social media posts have - by and large - focused on family.

We'll have to see if this remains to be the case as we move closer and closer to the presidential election and a potential second term for her father.
