Jezebel had a witch put a curse on Charlie Kirk prior to his murder

Earlier this month, many on the left reacted to the brutal assassination of  activist Charlie Kirk with words of praise and celebration.

However, a new report reveals that the left-wing website Jezebel boasted just two days before Kirk was killed that it had paid a witch to curse him.

Website was "interested in punishing Kirk"

That's according to the New York Post, which pointed to a video released by conservative podcast host Megyn Kelly on Tuesday.

Kelly highlighted a since-deleted article published by Jezebel on September 8 that detailed how it had paid a witch on Etsy to place a curse on Kirk.

"These days, witches cater to more than just personal grudges. And it’s not uncommon for them to channel their energy toward thwarting Republicans (there’s even a subreddit devoted to casting nightly hexes on Trump)," the article explained.

"Are you interested in punishing Kirk for the years of regressive rhetoric he’s shouted at America’s youth and anyone within earshot? Here at Jezebel, we’re about to find out if there’s a spell for that," it stated.

Kelly: Erika Kirk was "genuinely rattled" by article

"Erika and Charlie Kirk heard about these curses and that news genuinely rattled Erika, in particular," the Post quoted Kelly as telling her listeners.

"She knew Christian teaching on the subject, she loved Charlie, absolutely, and she was scared when she heard of the curses Jezebel had culled up," the host noted. "Why torture a family like this, a Christian believing family?"

"Why do this vile thing to a young couple, parents to two babies living in accordance with the gospel, deeply in love, and yes, political, but doing nothing other than speaking publicly about their views and their desires to make other people’s lives better," she continued.

"Who would do such a vile thing? Jezebel, that’s who, and unbelievably, Etsy. And the people behind this evil should be called out," Kelly declared.

Podcaster says Etsy should stick with "arts and crafts and jewelry"

The podcaster then went on to call on Jezebel to shut down and reveal which reporter was behind the campaign to curse Kirk.

What's more, Kelly urged Etsy to stick with "arts and crafts and jewelry" and stop providing an opportunity for witches to sell curses.

"Both entities should issue an immediate full-throated apology to Erika Kirk for introducing this awfulness into her beautiful family and causing her or Charlie any distress whatsoever in what would be the waning hours of his life," she insisted.
