First Lady Jill Biden recently took a trip to France, leaving the White House and her husband, President Joe Biden, behind. 

The craziest part of the trip was not the fact that the Bidens found a way to spend even more taxpayer money in a controversial way but the way the trip ended - with the first lady at President-Elect Donald Trump's side.

The New York Post reports that the political world has erupted over the encounter.

This is because, believe it or not, the two actually appeared to share a cordial conversation.

It took place in Paris, France, where Trump and Biden both were to attend the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral.

The Post reports:

It was hard to miss this love-in in the City of Love. Outgoing first lady Jill Biden and President-elect Donald Trump displayed some rare cross-party camaraderie in Paris during the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral. The interaction delighted the MAGA world and sparked a frenzy of speculation.

The interaction, according to the outlet, took place while Biden and Trump were waiting for French First Lady Brigitte Macron to take the seat that separated them during the reopening ceremony."

Trump capitalizes

Trump, who is known for his humor - at least among those who do not have Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) - capitalized on the encounter with a message that his posted to his Truth Social account.

He wrote:

Here are my new Trump Perfumes & Colognes! I call them Fight, Fight, Fight, because they represent us WINNING. Great Christmas gifts for the family. Go to gettrumpfragrances.com/. Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!

That is right, Trump used the opportunity to direct people to his store, where he sells a fragrance that he calls "Fight, Fight, Fight" - after the memorable words he said follow the first assassination attempt on his life.

One wonders whether the Bidens will see the humor in this.

The big question that everyone wants to know, however, is what exactly Trump and Jill Biden were talking about? And, those on the political left want to know how Biden could be so friendly with a man whom she ruthlessly campaign against? Thus far, neither has commented on the situation.
