Jill Biden takes over Joe's campaign duties

It appears that First Lady Jill Biden has taken over her husband's 2024 campaign duties - which begs the question - who's running for the president, Jill or Joe?

The local outlet WITN reports that the First Lady is headed to Greenville and Greensboro, North Carolina, on Monday, April 15, 2024.

"First Lady Jill Biden will travel to Greenville and Greensboro on Monday to highlight the importance of efforts to expand career-connected learning in high school and college. At noon the First Lady will arrive at Pitt-Greenville Airport in Greenville, North Carolina," the outlet reports.

It adds, "The First Lady will visit Pitt Community College in Winterville at 12:30 p.m. where she will highlight the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to expanding access to career-connected learning programs. Following that stop she will then travel to Greensboro."

She's all over the map

Jill has been all over the country campaigning on behalf of her husband. It was just on Friday that she was in Virginia, attacking Trump.

Vice President Kamala Harris has also been doing her fair share of campaigning for the Biden-Harris 2024 campaign. She has also been around the country, most recently appearing in Arizona.

You may ask where Joe Biden - the one who is actually running for the U.S. presidency - has been during all of this.

Well, his plan was to spend the weekend at his beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. But, his vacation was cut short due to Iran's attack on Israel, an attack that many argue was precipitated by Biden's weak support of Israel, most recently evidenced by his call for a ceasefire.

But, with all of this in mind, it really does raise the question of who actually is running for the presidency in 2024. Could it really be the guy who is taking it easy while his running mate and wife make campaign stops around the country?

It's Jill's quest for power

Presidential historian and author Douglas Brinkley recently argued that it is Jill Biden who is essentially forcing her husband to run for reelection because she wants power.

During an appearance on CBS News' Face The Nation, Brinkley said, "She likes power. She wants to stay. She wants some sense of revenge."

Whether or not this is true is for you to decide. But, there is no denying that Jill is a major player in the Biden administration. If you want proof, look no further than the Israel-Palestine situation.

Reports indicate that it was Jill who actually told her husband to call for a ceasefire. Now, we see the result - Iran's attack.

It is anyone's guess as to who is running the White House and as to who is really running for reelection. But, most would probably agree that it is not Joe Biden.
