Politico recently reported that many Democrats are growing increasingly fearful over President Joe Biden's lackluster poll numbers.

Evidence of that desperation could be seen on Wednesday when First Lady Jill Biden said another Republican Supreme Court appointment would cost Americans "all of our rights."

"He uses words like dictator, bloodbath, third term, violence"

According to Breitbart, Mrs. Biden made the outlandish assertion during a Wednesday appearance on ABC's "The View."

When asked by host Sara Haines "how much worse could it get in a second or third" term of former President Donald Trump, the first lady replied that "it could get a lot worse."

"I mean, you have to believe him when he uses words like dictator, bloodbath, third term, violence. We've seen it so when he says these words, believe him. Don't think this isn’t going to happen," she continued.

Breitbart noted that Mrs. Biden was referring to a speech Trump gave earlier this year in which he warned of a "bloodbath" should President Biden be reelected.

Yet while the First Lady and other Democrats seized on the term as a threat made against the American people, the full context of Trump's remarks show he was speaking in reference to the auto industry.

"We're going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you're not going to be able to sell those cars if I get elected," Trump declared.

"Now if I don't get elected, it's going to be a bloodbath for the whole — that's gonna be the least of it," the former president stated.

"It's going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it. But they’re not going to sell those cars. They're building massive factories," he went on to stress.

"Think of the Supreme Court for God's sake"

In her diatribe, the first lady then warned of dire consequences should her husband's opponent fill another vacancy on America's highest judicial body.

"We keep thinking this won’t be taken away, but we cannot take things for granted because they can. And think of the Supreme Court for God's sake," Mrs. Biden said.

"Talk about things getting worse. Can you imagine if we put any more Republicans on the Supreme Court? No. We will lose all of our rights. We are talking about all our rights, women's rights, gay rights," she added.
