Joe Biden's numbers look as bad as Hillary Clinton's in 2016

President Joe Biden's prospects for the 2024 presidential election are looking dimmer by the day.

According to the Washington Examiner, the elderly president is struggling hard in the polling department, across most areas of interest, including his approval rating.

While he was able to push Democrats in the 2020 race, that was before American voters who elected him knew just how bad he would ultimately mess things up.

Biden has lost confidence across multiple voting blocs, including his own base. Anyone, even Democrats, who still claim they're excited about the prospect of a second Biden term is absolutely lying for the camera.

What's happening?

The Examiner noted several dire statistics that show, in multiple forms, just how bad it's getting for Biden and his 2024 campaign.

It first recounted that Biden actually did much better than Hillary Clinton did in a number of key swing states, seemingly bringing back some fire to the Democratic voting base.

The Examiner noted:

Three years later, Biden’s numbers look very different. According to the RealClearPolitics average of national polling, Biden’s net approval rating is a negative 13.7%. The latest Gallup poll shows that the Democrats’ approval rating of Biden fell by 11 points last month to a historic low. Among independents, just 35% say they approve of Biden.

There have been several bombshell hypothetical matchup polls between Biden and former President Donald Trump, and Trump is either tying or beating him in virtually every single one, painting a much different picture for Democrat voters than what they presumably imagined.

The outlet continued making comparisons -- some of which are all but dead on -- to Hillary Clinton's downfall in 2016.

Many of the same metrics are lining up and all but guaranteeing a massive hurdle for the 80-year-old gaffe machine of a president.

So many failures

While Hillary Clinton was once the most unpopular figure in the Dem Party, the Examiner noted that Biden has quickly taken her place.

"In effect, Biden has “Hillary’ed” himself. In three years, he has done what it took Hillary Clinton a quarter of a century to accomplish: He has made himself one of the most unpopular Democratic politicians in history," the outlet wrote.

It went on to point out several glaring failures of the Biden administration, and no notable accomplishments to speak of.

Many Democrats have expressed concerns for 2024, as a poor showing by a party's presidential candidate has ramifications down the ballot.
