John Fetterman says his party 'loses the moral high ground' by not condemning riots
Since coming to office, Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman has gained a reputation for breaking with other members of his party.
Fetterman went rogue again this week when he sided with President Donald Trump regarding the riots in Los Angeles.
Fetterman says his party "loses the moral high ground" by not condemning riots
According to Breitbart, the Pennsylvania lawmaker made his position known in a social media post put up on Tuesday evening.
"I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations, and immigration—but this is not that. This is anarchy and true chaos," Fetterman wrote.

LA mayor blames "chaos" on White House, calls for raids by ICE agents to end
Breitbart pointed out how Fetterman's comments stood in sharp contrast with those made by other high-profile Democrats, such as former Vice President Kamala Harris.
Harris blamed the unrest on President Donald Trump, suggesting in a statement that his decision to deploy National Guard troops was "a dangerous escalation meant to provoke chaos."
"In addition to the recent ICE raids in Southern California and across our nation, it is part of the Trump Administration’s cruel, calculated agenda to spread panic and division," she declared.
Meanwhile, Los Angeles Democratic Mayor asserted that "we need to stop" immigration enforcement efforts before adding, "This was chaos that was started by Washington, D.C."
California AG files lawsuit over deployment of National Guard troops
Fox News also reported that California Attorney General Rob Bonta is filing a lawsuit over Trump's decision to deploy National Guard troops.
"President Trump’s order calling federalized National Guard troops into Los Angeles – over the objections of the governor and local law enforcement – is unnecessary and counterproductive," Bonita said in a statement.
"The president is trying to manufacture chaos and crisis on the ground for his own political ends," the attorney general went on to maintain.
