John Kerry to step down from 'climate czar' position to join Biden campaign
President Joe Biden will soon lose U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry, at least in the White House.
According to Fox News, Kerry will exit his made-up position -- created by Biden when he took office in 2021 -- and eventually join Biden on the campaign trail.
Kerry's current position was created by the White House without Senate approval. It happened to be in the wake of Kerry's endorsement of Biden on the campaign trail in 2019.
Many find it perplexing that Kerry would join Biden on the campaign trail, as he's not exactly the most popular figure on the left.
Kerry criticized
Kerry, who was smoked in the 2004 presidential election, hasn't accomplished much in the way of anything in his pretend climate position and has been widely criticized as a result.
"Climate czar John Kerry is the poster child for the Biden administration's anti-energy policies that are destroying both our economy and national security," Rep. Chip Roy, R-TX told Fox News Digital in July.
Several House Republicans attempted to pass a measure in July that would have defunded Kerry's position. It was called the No Taxpayer Funding for Climate Zealots Advancing Radical Schemes Act.
The bill's language was crystal clear.
"Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no Federal funds may be used for the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, including for salary, administrative, and travel expenses of the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate and for any other activity of the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate," the bill read.
John Kerry is quitting his White House job as "Climate Czar" to work in President Biden's re-election campaign. According to Kerry, the climate change agenda can only proceed if Biden is re-elected (yet another reason to vote for anyone but Biden).

Social media reacts
Many social media users called out Kerry's hypocritical behavior and actions.
"John likes to tell all of us that we should not use so much "fossil fuel" while he flies around on jets when he could easily do these meetings using Zoom or some other video conferencing software," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "My first reaction. Why? What’s coming? What is he trying to avoid AND what are they teeing up?"
It'll be interesting to see what his role will be on the Biden campaign trail.
