Nothing would put the Department of Government Efficiency at risk more than something happening to Elon Musk, so the recent decision by a judge in Wisconsin is a HUGE victory for Elon Musk and Donald Trump alike.

Elon Musk recently made the bold decision to put up millions of dollars to pay Wisconsin voters to reject "activist judges" in Wisconsin, right before the upcoming state Supreme Court election. It was a risky move considering it's a felony in Wisconsin to offer money to influence somebody to vote a certain way or not vote at all.

Democrats were so furious with Elon Musk's move that they launched a lawsuit against him because of his $2,000,000 pledge. A Wisconsin judge has just blocked the suit.

According to The Hill, "A Wisconsin judge on Saturday declined the state attorney general’s request for an emergency injunction to prevent Elon Musk from paying two voters $1 million for opposing “activist judges” in the upcoming Supreme Court election."

Musk's actions

Elon Musk has been heavily involved in the Republican campaign in the Wisconsin Supreme Court election. He's backing Brad Schimel, who's running against liberal opponent Susan Crawford, Barack Obama's pick for the seat.

"On March 30, I will give a talk in Wisconsin. Entrance is limited to those who have voted in the Supreme Court election," Elon Musk said.

"I will also personally hand over two checks for a million dollars each in appreciation for you taking the time to vote. This is super important," he added.

Elon Musk has been urging voters in Wisconsin "to cast their ballot for Schimel while delivering $1 million paychecks to two spokespeople who spread the word on the ground and $100 to voters who sign a petition against 'activist judges,'" The Hill reports.

Democrats push back

Liberals in the state immediately argued that it was a "bribery scheme" for Elon Musk to pay residents to reject certain judges.

"Elon Musk has committed a blatant felony by offering money for votes in order to help Brad Schimel," Ben Wikler, chair of the Democratic Party in Wisconsin, said in a statement. "Musk’s illegal election bribery scheme to put Brad Schimel on the Supreme Court is a chainsaw attack on democracy and the rule of law in Wisconsin and our nation."

Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul filed a lawsuit against Musk.

"The Wisconsin Department of Justice is committed to ensuring that elections in Wisconsin are safe, secure, free, and fair. We are aware of the offer recently posted by Elon Musk to award a million dollars to two people at an event in Wisconsin this weekend," Kaul said. "Based on our understanding of applicable Wisconsin law, we intend to take legal action today to seek a court order to stop this from happening."

Unfortunately for Democrats, Columbia County Circuit Court Judge Andrew Voight did not agree.

Judge Voight quickly decided against blocking the Tesla CEO's payments.
