Former President Donald Trump made headlines this past weekend when he announced a plan to lift taxes on Social Security income.

Yet the former president wasn't the only member of the Trump family to draw attention in recent days, as his eldest granddaughter did as well.

Ms. Trump spoke warmly of grandfather in RNC speech

Fox News noted that Kai Trump first gained prominence for the speech she delivered at last month's Republican National Convention (RNC) held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

During the address, Ms. Trump spoke fondly of grandfather and explained that the two are frequently in contact with one another.

"He calls me during the middle of the school day to ask how my golf game is going and tells me all about his, but then I have to remind him that I'm in school and I'll have to call him back later," she said to laughs from the crowd.

What's more, Ms. Trump also addressed the assassination attempt on her grandfather which claimed the life of firefighter Corey Comperatore.
