Vice President Kamala Harris gave a searing speech against pro-life Americans this week, telling them to get out of the way.

Harris shared the remarks during a "reproductive health care" speech at Howard University.

The comments

“These extremist so-called leaders would dare to tell us what is in our own best interest. Well I say, I trust the women of America. I trust the people of America,” Harris said.

“So don’t get in our way because if you do, we’re going to stand up, we’re going to organize and we’re going to speak up and we’re going to say we’re not having that, we’re not playing that!” she added.

Battle cry

Harris also claimed that pro-abortion advocates are the ones who are being mistreated, claiming it was time to "fight."

"We are living, I do believe, in a moment in time, where so many of our hard-won freedoms are under attack and this is a moment for us to stand and fight," Harris said.

"Not on our watch are we going to let this thing keep rolling like it is. Let us stand and fight," she added.

The speech also comes as the battle about abortion has shifted to abortion pills which now make up over half of the nation's cases.

"I’m disappointed that the Supreme Court has allowed chemical abortions to continue, even with the FDA ignoring the clear statute," Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) tweeted this week.

"I will continue to do everything in my ability to protect women, girls and unborn children from the real risks of DIY-chemical abortion pills," he added.

The latest Harris speech shows that the Biden administration plans to continue focusing the vice president on pro-abortion topics as the president campaigns for a second term.

The focus continues to divide Americans as many hold deep convictions about the value of life in contrast with the platform taken by the Democratic Party.

" A free people [claim] their rights, as derived from the laws of nature."
