Former Vice President Kamala Harris seemingly went into hiding after her embarrassing defeat in November to Republican opponent President Donald Trump.

But now she's back, and in her first speech since getting out of her house, she unsurprisingly started throwing bombs at both President Trump and Elon Musk, according to Fox News

In her first major speech since her November loss, Harris used her time to take veiled jabs at the two men.

The insults come at the same time Democrats and their followers stricken with Trump Derangement Syndrome hyper-focus on what's currently happening in government.

What did she say?

Harris made her first speech at the 56th NAACP Image Awards on Saturday in the Los Angeles area. She was there to accept an award called the "NAACP's Chairman Award."

"The organization came into being at a moment when our country struggled with greed, bitterness and hatred. And those who forged the NAACP legacy, those who carried its legacy had no illusions about the forces they were up against. No illusions about how stony the road would be. But some look at this moment and rightly feel the weight of history," Harris said.

The former vice president then warned of "flames on our horizons" and "shadows gathering over our democracy."

She also issued a call to "organize" and "mobilize."

"Some see the flames on our horizons, the rising waters in our cities, the shadows gathering over our democracy and ask, what do we do now? But we know exactly what to do because we have done it before, and we will do it again. We use our power. We organize, mobilize. We educate, and we advocate. Because you see, our power has never come from having an easy path."

Social media reaction

Users reacted to Harris' speech and torched her for it.

"Not deserving and you should’ve never accepted it!" one X user said, referring to the award.

Another X user wrote, "Even in politics they get participation trophies."

What an embarrassing way to reemerge. She's already sounding as bitter as Hillary Clinton was when Trump beat her in 2016.
