Kamala Harris trying to distance herself from Hillary comparisons before election
Hillary Clinton's primary goal in life has been to achieve fame and power.
We know that because we've witnessed her entire political career unfold before our eyes. Instead of standing up to her husband Bill Clinton when he cheated on her, Hillary simply allowed it to happen because she wanted the power the last name "Clinton" brought to her.
America is finally getting so sick of Hillary Clinton that even Kamala Harris is going out of her way to prove she's NOT like Hillary.
It's public knowledge that Kamala Harris has been highlighting the mistakes that Hillary Clinton made in 2016 and is trying to make sure that the same things are NOT present in this 2024 campaign.
Women in a man's game
The main crux of Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton's schtick is the same - they're a woman breaking barriers like nobody who ever came before them.
You would think that this might be all that Kamala Harris needs to put Hillary Clinton up on a pedestal and anoint her as the inspiration for why any woman ever gets into politics. Instead of Kamala Harris gassing up fellow female Hillary Clinton at every opportunity, Kamala's actually going out of her way to make sure she does things differently than Hillary Clinton did.
According to NationalReview.com:
If the Democratic nominee loses next month, you won’t see leaks that she and her team ignored pleas from Doug Emhoff to try and connect with swing voters, in the way that Hillary and the Clinton camp dismissed Bill’s advice eight years ago.
The article continues, "Kamala Harris intends to leave nothing on the table in the quest for the states Hillary Clinton snubbed, especially Wisconsin. The vice president hit Milwaukee, La Crosse, and Green Bay on Thursday alone. Tim Walz was in Green Bay on Monday. On top of that, Harris made repeat stops this week in Michigan (a state Clinton also mostly ignored in the general), as well as Pennsylvania. The campaign, to the chagrin of some, is looking for support beyond the traditional base."
Similarities in the campaigns
While Kamala Harris is breaking with Hillary Clinton on some things, such as pursuing swing voters, there are many similarities between Clinton's 2016 run and Harris' 2024 attempt.
For one, both candidates are telling America that the only way they will lose isn't because they aren't the best candidate, but because of sexism. When Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton blame sexism, they don't actually have any facts to back it up, they're just using a scapegoat to take away from their failures.
America can't afford four more years of Joe Biden, but that's exactly what we'd get with Kamala Harris. Kamala lies to us and tells us that she's going to be different than Joe Biden, but that's not the tune she was singing just a few short months ago.
Back when Biden was still the nominee, Kamala Harris went on television and lied to all of America that Joe was still fit to be America's President. She knew that nothing could be further from the truth, but she went out and lied anyway. Now that SHE'S the nominee, she's been trying to get as far away from Joe Biden as she possibly can.
It doesn't matter whether we're talking about Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, or Hillary Clinton. America' won't survive another term with these people in charge of us.
