While he's usually the one giving the powerful endorsements, former President Donald Trump just received one that will help guide him across the finish line in 2024 in Arizona.

According to Breitbart, former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake (R) endorsed Trump this week.

The endorsement came "during a meet-and-greet event hosted by the Scott County Republican Women in Bettendorf, Iowa, near Des Moines," Breitbart added.

Lake's endorsement didn't come as a surprise, as she's been a long-time, staunch supporter of the former president, and never shied away from touting that during her 2022 gubernatorial campaign.

"Everything in my power"

Lake held nothing back regarding her support for Trump during the announced at the Iowa Republican event.

"I will do everything in my power to get President @realDonaldTrump elected. He saved America before and he will do it again. We need him now, more than ever," Lake said.

"I’m not doing this for any gain. I truly love the man because he gave up so much. He did a lot for Iowa, he did a lot for Iowa farmers, he did a lot for Americans," said Lake, a former Iowan herself.

Iowa is one of the most important early campaigning states for any serious presidential candidate.

Another big endorsement

Just hours before Lake's endorsement of the former president, Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) released his own, praising the former president's policies.

"I’m proud to endorse the strongest president of my lifetime, Donald J. Trump, for a second term in 2024," the Oklahoma Republican wrote.

"President Trump is exactly the president we need to lead this country through the tough road ahead. Not only am I proud to endorse President Trump, I’m proud to call him my friend," the statement continued.
