Arizona Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake urged Donald Trump to "keep doing what he's doing" ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

Lake, who is seen by many as a potential VP pick, said Trump has stirred up the "spirit of America" as polls show the former president with an edge over his Democratic rival Joe Biden.

"He’s igniting the spirit of America, really the spirit of our Founding Fathers,” she told Breitbart at this weekend's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC.)

Echoing Trump's warnings about 2024, Lake said the next election will decide the fate of the nation, but she is "so encouraged" to see that ordinary Americans have been mobilized by Trump to "save" the nation.

"We have nine or ten months to save [America],” she said.

“I actually get chills thinking about how I’m seeing everyday people who’ve never been involved in politics, stepping forward, showing up at conventions like this, getting involved, calling our office, saying, ‘How can we get involved?'” she added.

Lake added that Trump should "keep doing what he's doing" and suggested Americans are eager for a return to his "strong" policies.

In fact, a new poll found that a majority of Americans now support Trump's border wall for the first time.

That's not by accident. It comes after three years of the worst illegal immigration crisis in American history, brought on by Biden's open border agenda.

Trump's bold message

Biden continues to face rising doubts about his mental fitness and poor reviews over the economy, as the public looks back to the Trump presidency as a more prosperous time.

Trump's third presidential campaign has been described as more disciplined than previous efforts, to the alarm of left-wing critics who warn he will establish a "dictatorship" if he returns to power.

The Republican frontrunner topped the bill at CPAC with a rousing speech in which he declared himself a "proud political dissident" and pledged to restore order to the country.

He labeled the upcoming election a day of "judgment" for the "corrupt" political class that rules the nation.

"For hardworking Americans, Nov. 5 will be our new liberation day. But for the liars and cheaters and fraudsters and censors and imposters who have commandeered our government, it will be judgment day,” he said.

" A free people [claim] their rights, as derived from the laws of nature."
