A veteran of President Donald Trump's first term in office just announced some major news that will likely excite all of their family, friends, and fans.

Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany revealed on Monday that she is pregnant with her third child with husband Sean Gilmartin, People magazine reported.

McEnany, now a co-host of Fox News' "Outnumbered," shared the happy news with her colleagues and viewers near the end of Monday's show.

Third pregnancy revealed

"Well, last but not least, I have been teasing a big announcement," McEnany said during the final segment of "Outnumbered," according to the New York Post. "Sean and I are expecting our third child, which we’re so excited about."

She and husband Sean, a former Major League Baseball pitcher with the New York Mets, already have two children together -- a daughter named Blake, 5, and a son named Nash, 2.

McEnany noted that the pinks and blues in her outfit and a banner on the screen were not indications of the baby's gender, and said, "We're going to do a gender reveal. The baby’s due in June, so I hope you will join me on this journey. I'll be live-talking about this on social media, on the show. We will do a big gender reveal here."

She also shared a copy of the baby's sonogram photo on the screen, to the ohhs and ahhs of her fellow co-hosts, and stated, "It's very sweet. It's been a special time. I've been pregnant during Christmas and during Thanksgiving, and my daughter, Blake, now knows, so she runs up and holds my stomach and is like, 'Let me kiss the baby.'"

Another baby is "on the way"

The Los Angeles Times reported that McEnany, a devout Christian, shared a couple of Bible verses that she believed were pertinent, including Jeremiah 1:5, which states: "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you."

"It's not just a message about my baby, it's a message about all of you. That's how much He loves us," she told viewers.

She then jokingly asked her co-hosts and the show's producers for permission to finally unbutton the tight jacket she was wearing as part of her pink outfit, and proceeded to receive congratulatory remarks from her friends on the program's half-circle couch as she also held up a small framed copy of the sonogram photo and revealed that it will displayed on the mantle at home with the sonograms of her other two children.

Former press secretary turned cable news commentator

The Times noted that McEnany and Gilmartin, who retired from the MLB in 2022, first began dating in 2015 and got married in 2017.

McEnany, who launched her career on TV as a political commentator on CNN, served admirably as the White House press secretary and Trump campaign press secretary from 2020 through 2021, per the Post.

After the first Trump term ended, McEnany joined Fox News, where she is a regular co-host on the midday "Outnumbered" talk show and occasionally serves as a fill-in host for "Fox & Friends" in the morning as well as for primetime evening hosts Jesse Watters, Laura Ingraham, and Sean Hannity.
