The rate of Hollywood divorces keeps climbing.

According to People, Kenya Moore, star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," told the outlet that after three years of legal proceedings, she's finally divorced from Marc Daly.

Not only did the couple not sign a prenuptial agreement prior to marriage, she also said earlier this year that she felt like it was the "world's longest divorce" as a result.

Moore filed for divorce in May 2021. They married in 2017 and had a daughter, Brooklyn, in November 2018.

Moving on

"After more than three years of litigation, I have finally been granted a divorce," Moore, 52, told People. "I want to thank everyone who prayed for and uplifted me when I needed it the most."

Moore also told People that she's relieved to enter the next chapter of her life, noting that she's still hopeful to find her "forever person."

"As a hopeless romantic, I still believe my forever person exists and know I’ll have my happily ever after ending after all," Moore said.

"I’m excited for this next chapter in my life and being the best mom I can be for my daughter, Brooklyn," Moore added.

Moore explained that the divorce ultimately didn't come down to numbers, rather it was more of a waiting game for a trial date and the massive amount of red tape.

"He's not asking for anything at this point. It's just at a standstill so until we get a trial date or settle, it's still going to go on," she said earlier this year.

Playing it out on TV

Her divorce news reportedly was aired on on an episode of the show. Moore reflected on that episode and how it affected her at the time.

"It was a struggle just to work through our differences even during the show," she admitted. "A lot of it was exposed, just how we weren't getting along or weren't on the same page."

"As I said before, I felt like my voice was stifled a lot because I felt like I had to be a certain kind of wife to get along with him and his personality," she added. "That's not what a marriage is about."

Moore indicated that the two stars had lived in a state of separation since 2019.
