Lara Trump has now joined with those who are arguing that the Biden administration bears some blame for the recent terror attack that took place in New Orleans. 

Trump - the daughter-in-law of President-Elect Donald Trump - did so in an interview that she recently did with the Daily Mail.

Lara Trump has become a major figure in the Republican Party, particularly as one of the leaders of the Republican National Committee (RNC). Accordingly, she played a big role in helping her father-in-law to win the 2024 presidential election.

As we will see, both Trumps are in agreement about this particular issue.

"When you look at . . ."

Lara Trump, in the interview, argued that it is Biden's weakness on the world stage that led, indirectly, to the recent terror attack.

She said:

Look at what has occurred over the last four years in this country – the fact that you had such a horrific withdrawal from Afghanistan, you left a vacuum and a space in the Middle East for terrorist cells to grow and prosper.

It has been reported, by the New York Post, that the attacker in New Orleans was an ISIS sympathizer.

Per the outlet:

But Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the 42-year-old Army vet from Texas who mowed down dozens of New Year’s revelers, killing 15 and injuring many more on Bourbon Street on Jan. 1, was flying an ISIS flag on his rented truck. Jabbar also posted five videos claiming to have been “inspired by ISIS” and expressing a “desire to kill” prior to his spree, which ended with him being gunned down by police after he exited the vehicle.

Trump also suggested that there may have been some kind of connection between the New Orleans attack and the recent attack on her father-in-law's Las Vegas hotel.

"Worst President Ever"

President-Elect Trump has released his own statement on the matter in which he too placed some blame for the terrorist attack on Biden.

He, in part, wrote:

With the Biden “Open Border’s Policy” I said, many times during Rallies, and elsewhere, that Radical Islamic Terrorism, and other forms of violent crime, will become so bad in America that it will become hard to even imagine or believe. That time has come, only worse than ever imagined.

Trump went on to declare Biden the "word president in the history of America."

" Joe Biden is the WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF AMERICA, A COMPLETE AND TOTAL DISASTER," he wrote.

Trump added, "What [Biden] and his group of Election Interfering 'thugs' have done to our Country will not soon be forgotten! MAGA."
