Legendary actor Matthew Perry's death rocked the entertainment world, along with his millions of fans. The late "Friends" actor's death was caused by a ketamine overdose.

The people involved in supplying Perry with the drug outside of his prescribed levels have all faced the music, and according to Breitbart, the "Ketamine Queen" became the fifth and final defendant in the case, pleading guilty to the charges. 

Jasveen Sangha, known in circles as the "Ketamine Queen," struck a plea deal with prosecutors after initially pleading not guilty to charges related to supplying Perry the Ketamine that ultimately killed him.

The plea deal means she'll avoid an upcoming trial scheduled for August.

What's going on?

She was originally charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and prosecutors went all out in making sure the name "Ketamine Queen" was mentioned frequently, even naming the case after it.

Making matters worse for the prolific drug dealer, she was also charged with "one count of maintaining a drug-involved premises, one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, one count of possession with intent to distribute ketamine and five counts of distribution of ketamine."

After having initially pleaded not guilty, Sangha is expected to formally change her plea at an upcoming hearing.

Taking the deal means that she could face up to 45 years in prison if found guilty and if she receives the maximum sentence.

Breitbart noted:

She and Dr. Salvador Plasencia, who signed his own plea deal June 16, had been the primary targets of the investigation. Three other defendants — Dr. Mark Chavez, Kenneth Iwamasa and Erik Fleming — agreed to plead guilty last year in exchange for their cooperation, which included statements implicating Sangha and Plasencia.

Perry had used the drug as prescribed for off-label use by his doctor to treat depression -- an increasingly popular treatment.

The fatal dose

In the days leading up to Perry's overdose death, he had purchased 25 vials of the drug from Sangha for a staggering $6,000.

Those doses were the final ones that resulted in his death.

Breitbart noted:

With the two men acting as middlemen, Perry bought large amounts of ketamine from Sangha, including 25 vials for $6,000 in cash four days before his death. That purchase included the doses that killed Perry, prosecutors said.

This will likely close the book on those facing the music in relation to Perry's death.
