Left-wing activists 'shocked' by John Fetterman's support for Israel
Leftists celebrated last year when Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman defeated Republican challenger Mehmet Oz.
However, Fetterman has left many in his own party behind by voicing support for Israel in its war with Hamas.
Activists "bitterly disappointed"
Fox News reported last week that Fetterman has made left-wing activists feel "bitterly disappointed" after he put up pictures of Hamas' hostages outside his Senate office.

The senator's critics include Beth Miller, who serves as political director of the far-left group Jewish Voice for Peace Action.
"I am still a bit shocked by the level of disdain that he has been giving to a growing anti-war movement," Miller was quoted as telling Politico.
Fetterman said to have "smirked" as protestors were arrested
Nor was Miller the only one to express discontent, as anti-war activist Matt Howard expressed similar sentiments to the website.
"I honestly felt frustrated," Howard complained after Fetterman made fun of members of a leftist group who had been arrested during a protest. "If he disagreed with them, that’s one thing. It didn’t totally make sense to me that he would resort to mocking folks.
Meanwhile, fellow activist Brittany DeBarros said Fetterman "smirked" and "waved sarcastically" while arrests were being made.
Video of the incident was posted to the social media platform previously known as Twitter, and in it one protester could be heard shouting that the senator was "doing a disservice to Pennsylvania."

We asked to see @SenGillibrand. We were put in cuffs.

Fetterman: America "has a moral obligation to be in lockstep with our ally"
Fox News reported earlier this month that Fetterman has been accused by former supporters of betraying his base with a statement he put out following the attack that killed 1400 Israelis.
"I unequivocally support any necessary military, intelligence, and humanitarian aid to Israel. The United States has a moral obligation to be in lockstep with our ally as they confront this threat," Fetterman said.
"I also fully support Israel neutralizing the terrorists responsible for this barbarism," the Democratic lawmaker went on to insist.
