Lefties mad that ABC News suspended Terry Moran for unhinged anti-Trump rant

A bunch of far lefties had their panties in a bunch after ABC News suspended its correspondent Terry Moran for his unhinged rant against President Donald Trump that called both him and adviser Stephen Miller a "world-class hater" on social media over the weekend.

The tweet was soon deleted, probably after Moran belatedly realized that it violated his network's standards, but not before it was seen by enough people to get Moran in trouble.

"The post does not reflect the views of ABC News and violated our standards," a spokesperson for ABC News said.

Moran obviously thought no one would object to him scorning Trump, because everyone he knows does it and the media bubble he's in just takes it for granted that it's okay.

What Moran said

While White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt asked for accountability and Vice President J.D. Vance demanded an apology from Moran to Miller, the left was angry that Moran would be punished at all in any way.

"MAGA, I thought you all defended free speech and the First Amendment, right? Why are you so upset about Terry Moran's comments? Stop being such snowflakes, right? Stop looking for safe spaces. Man up," left-wing writer Wajahat Ali, who edits "The Left Hook" Substack, posted about Moran's suspension.

"Shame on you, @abcnews," brand new Democrat Rep. Joe Walsh (IL) posted. "Way to NOT stand up for a free press."

Keith Olbermann called Disney CEO Bob Iger and all of ABC News "cowards" for their action and said that everyone should "copy and paste" Moran's comments.

It all might be surprising if we didn't know just how much and how deeply the left hates Trump and his allies like Miller.

All the hate

Enough to become a Democrat while still calling yourself "conservative" (Walsh).

Enough to endorse a man who was practically a brain-dead vegetable, both in 2020 and 2024.

Enough to go along with four criminal indictments and two impeachments, and numerous criminal charges against many of his allies, too.

It's really quite despicable, and cheers for ABC News for recognizing it and refusing to go along.
