Leftists slam Sen. John Fetterman after he voices support for US Army parade
President Donald Trump commemorated the U.S Army's 250th's birthday this past weekend by authorizing a massive parade in the nation's capital.
That move was welcomed by Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman, something which sparked fury among his fellow Democrats.
Senator says Army parade celebrates "250 years of sacrifice, dedication and service"
According to Fox News, Fetterman voiced support for Saturday's parade with a social media post that featured footage of the event.
This parade is comprised of our sons, daughters, mothers and fathers—the very best of us.
Regardless of your politics, it’s appropriate to celebrate the 250 years of sacrifice, dedication and service. 🇺🇸 https://t.co/YghyZkK2JS

"This parade is comprised of our sons, daughters, mothers and fathers—the very best of us," the Democratic lawmaker declared.
"Regardless of your politics, it’s appropriate to celebrate the 250 years of sacrifice, dedication and service," he went on to add.
Fetterman's name was met with boos from some at "No Kings" protest
Fox News pointed out that Fetterman's stance was not well received by attendees at the anti-Trump "No Kings" protest that was being held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday.
"Now, this is not a rally for one party, we’ve got Democrats here today. We’ve got Republicans and Independents here today," Leah Greenberg was quoted as saying to rally goers. Greenberg is cofounder of the nonprofit group Indivisible.
"We are looking to the leaders who will fight for us because, even today, there are folks among the Democratic Party who think we should roll over and play dead. Anyone seen John Fetterman here today?" she demanded as people booed in response.
This is not the first time that Fetterman has ruffled feathers on the left, as he also did so with another social media post last week.
Lawmaker slams "anarchy and true chaos" seen at anti-ICE riots in LA
In it, the Pennsylvania senator called out others within his own party over their response to anti-ICE riots that have taken place in Los Angeles.
"I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations, and immigration—but this is not that," Fetterman asserted, adding, "This is anarchy and true chaos."
"My party loses the moral high ground when we refuse to condemn setting cars on fire, destroying buildings, and assaulting law enforcement," he stressed.
Fetterman's post included a photograph in which several burning vehicles could be seen as well as a shirtless man who was waving a Mexican flag.
