Liberal television host says Melania Trump "hates Christmas" and her husband
Supporters of Melania Trump complain that she has been unfairly vilified, with some critics even mocking her Slovenian accent.
That tragic phenomenon appeared again this week when one media figure accused her of hating Christmas and wanting to "take out" her husband.
"Who hates Christmas? Melania Trump hates Christmas"
According to Breitbart, those allegations were leveled on Thursday by Sunny Hostin, who serves as one of the hosts on ABC's "The View."
"I think she hates him. Okay, so we can all agree that. That's a given. I also think that she wants to take him out," Hostin said of the former first lady.

"She does not want to be the First Lady any more. She doesn’t want to be the First Lady. She destroyed the Rose Garden," Hostin continued.
"Who hates Christmas? Melania Trump hates Christmas. She doesn't want to decorate for Christmas," the host went on to assert.
Hostin claims that Donald Trump is "broke"
Hostin further claimed that Mrs. Trump "doesn't want anything to do with" her husband and "doesn't want to sleep in the same room with him. She can't tolerate him."
Those remarks came in response to the former first lady's release of a new memoir titled "Melania," something Hostin derided as a desperate cash grab, saying, "She needs the money because he's broke."
"So, she wants to make the money, now her memoir’s all buzzy, now we’re all talking about it. Maybe now she’s not as bad as she is," Hostin speculated.
"You know, I think that she wants to take him out and she’s doing a pretty damn good job of it," the television personality maintained.
Mrs. Trump promises to present "the truth" in new book
For her part, Mrs. Trump prompted the book in a social media post last month, stating, "As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation. I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts," the news service quoted her as saying."
The former first lady further pledged that she will deliver "the truth" as she believes "it is important to share my perspective."
The book covers multiple topics, including the FBI's raid on her home two years ago. Mrs. Trump remarked, "I never imagined my privacy would be invaded by the government here in America."
