In Aurora, Colorado, Donald Trump addressed a crowd of thousands on Friday and criticized Joe Biden and Kamala Harris's immigration policies, attributing them to the local migrant gang activity.

Locals have informed reproters that the presence of migrant gangs in Aurora, Colorado, is causing residents to feel uneasy, and some are even fleeing the town altogether, as The Daily Mail reported.

In August, Tren de Aragua (TDA), a Venezuelan prison gang, was reported to be operating in Aurora. A video showed men with rifles and handguns threatening apartment occupants before a 25-year-old man was shot and killed. The report went viral.

Contradicting Reports

Nevertheless, Colorado Governor Jared Polis has stated that TDA's presence in the region does not constitute a takeover or the "war zone" that Trump has characterized.

However, the MAGA supporters who attended Trump's rally on Friday were adamant that the gang activity in Aurora has exacerbated the safety situation.

Residents of Aurora and neighboring communities expressed their apprehension regarding the presence of migrant gangs in the area to DailyMail.com.

Recon, a Marine Corps veteran and Aurora resident, stated to DailyMail.com that the media has not been closely monitoring the TDA gang's activities.

From the Locals

"I'm from Aurora Colorado, born and raised Denver Aurora," Recon said. "I went to the Marine Corps for eight years, and I came back home.

"As far as the migrant situation is concerned, I'm gonna be honest with you, the news and the media and Democrats are covering it up, because it's bad for politics."

He confirmed the existence of TDA gang activity, saying, "it's just spreading across the communities that they're picking," and pointing out that the problematic gangs are not operating in more pleasant neighborhoods.

"They're not sending them to Highlands Ranch. They're not sending them to Cherry Hills village. They're not sending them to Boulder they're not sending them to Fort Collins," Recon continued.

The former military operative went on saying, "So the facts of the matter is, they're sending them to the black communities, which which is a conflict of interest considering that since the cost of inflation has went up, everything has gotten more expensive, and people can't even pay for childcare."

Another Report

Living just twenty minutes away from the apartment where the migrant gang activity was filmed, Cortney, another Aurora resident, said that "all of Aurora has just gone downhill."

Given that the gang activity has persisted for some time, she sees the national attention on the matter as a positive step. However, she did say that her community is not the only one affected.

"The majority of Colorado has been overrun between the homeless and the drugs and the illegal aliens," she added.
